After my father’s funeral in 2023, I painted Released. This piece is a tribute to him—a representation of his transition. The red-tail hawk symbolizes his spirit, soaring free and unburdened, while the skull represents the broken body he left behind. Watching him endure the trials of cancer was one of the hardest experiences of my life. There’s a bittersweet relief in knowing he’s free from pain, but it comes with the heartache of not having him here in the physical. This artwork embodies both the sorrow and the beauty of letting go, the love that endures, and the freedom that comes with release.

Pricing reflects the carrier's rates based on shipping weight and destination. Some of the apparel (oversized t-shirts) have a flat rate.
